Ms. Maria Ruvalcaba is a Managing Partner and Business Development & Client Services Manager with SALEM Engineering Group, Inc. Ms. Ruvalcaba serves as the principal liaison between our firm and our most valued clients, managing and coordinating project portfolios between our various service departments. She is deeply committed to ensuring the successful completion of each project and takes pride in developing long-lasting business relationships through outreach, interaction and continuous improvement of services.
Ms. Ruvalcaba has been with SALEM Engineering Group, Inc. since 2007 and brings over 15 years of experience in the real estate and engineering consulting industry with an emphasis in environmental due diligence. She has conducted hundreds of asbestos-containing materials (ACM) surveys; lead-based paint (LBP) surveys, as well as Phase I & Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) on commercial, residential and industrial properties throughout the United States. Ms. Ruvalcaba has broad knowledge and extensive experience in many phases of real estate development from initial site selection through building construction including environmental due diligence, biological & cultural assessments and monitoring, geotechnical investigations, land surveying and civil engineering, as well as construction materials testing and special inspections.
Ms. Ruvalcaba holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from California State University San Bernardino (CSUSB), a Certificate of Hazardous Materials Management (CHMM) from the University of California Riverside (UCR) and is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers.
