Mr. Ledgerwood graduated with his Bachelor of Science Degree in Earth Sciences and Bachelor of Arts Degree in Art from University of California Santa Cruz (UCSC) and began working in geotechnical engineering in February 2003. Mr. Ledgerwood conducted field engineering and field geology investigations for a year before being promoted to a supervisory role, overseeing the compaction testing services with his former employer. In 2006, Mr. Ledgerwood was promoted to a project management role within the geotechnical division.
Mr. Ledgerwood joined SALEM in 2018 as the Northern California Geotechnical Engineering Department Manager, and is responsible for managing the Geotechnical Engineering group in SALEM’s Fresno office. Since joining SALEM, Mr. Ledgerwood provides oversight and direction for geotechnical investigations conducted in Northern California and throughout the Central Valley. Additionally, Mr. Ledgerwood consults with clients regarding the interpretation of geotechnical studies and construction related challenges. Mr. Ledgerwood has worked on numerous residential, commercial, and public infrastructure projects and has extensive knowledge with geotechnical and geologic challenges such as slope stability, liquefaction, and mitigation utilizing deep ground improvement methods.
Mr. Ledgerwood provides experience and expertise for geotechnical projects throughout the State of California.
