Francisco Magos has over 10 years of experience in civil engineering. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from California State University, Fresno (CSUF) in 2005 and later obtained his professional engineering license in 2008. While working in the industry, Mr. Magos decided to go back to school to pursue a Master of Business Administration (MBA). In 2012, he graduated from CSUF with an MBA. Mr. Magos’ background is in municipal infrastructure design including water, wastewater and storm drainage design. He is also certified as a Qualified Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan Developer and Practitioner (QSD/P), enabling him to write storm water plans and inspect sites during construction. Upon joining Salem Engineering Group, Inc. in 2014, he was assigned as a Senior Project Engineer working in the Construction Inspection & Material Testing Department. In late 2015, Mr. Magos was appointed as the Civil Engineering Department Manager and now oversees a staff of project and assistant engineers working on land development projects. He has been actively involved in many organizations including acting as past president of the ASCE Student and Parent branch chapters, the Alumni and Friends of the Lyle’s College of Engineering chapter and acting as a professional liaison between the parent chapter and student chapter of APWA.
